Terry Francona changed all his players besides Gonzalez at SS.

QUOTE (tommy @ Sep 4, 2009 -> 06:55 PM)
Is this lead comfortable enough to let Tyler catch a little? Or are we in it until calculator says otherwise?

Yes and Fields too.

It is amazing how early he does that.

Pods really is or has become a fine hitter.

Way to wait on that slop. Nice hit.

Too bad he's one of the worst defensive left-fielders I've ever seen. It negates his offense to a large degree. And I'm one that loves Pods.

Francona's replaced 8 of his players in the lineup. Everybody except Gonzalez is out.

what the heck guys? you can't even score 1 run this inning?

Now we're putting in some replacements. Nix at third. Wise in right. Kotsay moves to first. Lillibridge in at SS.

Is it possible kotsay isn't awful? Maybe he just was in a bad division for hitters last yr

Kotsay was pretty good with Atlanta last year. He just sucked with Boston.

We might see Hudson. :D

He's serviceable as bench guy. That's all.

DAN HUDSON warming in the pen.

That was reminiscent of former Sox ss Alan Bannister back in the day.

Lexi throws it away.

It was Nix.

Another QS from Freddy.

I'm pretty confident about him as our 5th starter next year.

We gotta put up some more runs... cards have 14

Yes, but I hope that bench guy plays every game this series cause he wants to beat his former team bad I bet ya.

So glad were finally giving a team a good beating for a change. :gosoxretro: :gosoxretro:

That team is flat scary. They transformed the second they added Holiday.

That was Nix?? Wow.

I has been my though for months, but everyone kept talking about the cubs winning the division easily and no way the cards could keep it up

I hope Ozzie puts in Flowers catching perhaps in the 9th or so.

I'm assuming Flowers caught Hudson in AAA?

Freddy's last three starts...

18.1 innings, 15 hits, 7 runs, 7 ER, 5 walks, 14 Ks, 3.44 ERA, 1.105 WHIP.

All of this against two of the best offenses in baseball. He's back...
