I give him leeway cause he isn't ready to handle the bat, but getting down a bunt isn't like hitting a homerun, its something anyone can do if they practice. NL pitchers, who get little batting practice and many fewer at bats get bunts down. Buerhle got a bunt down against the Flubs if I recall correctly. Miguel has to get his thought process right

July 25, 200322 yr Why can't we just tell Olivo to bunt like it is a basehit? I think he's laid down a couple of bunts this year for basehits and attempts to do it once in a while. DJ was talking about how its alot easier to time a bunt if you do it that way instead of square around early. These guys gotta make some adjustments like that instead of keep doing the same things over and over that don't work.
