October 27, 200916 yr Wow, not too good. I can't believe I missed Mr. Pornstache and Fisk. I remember Kark and forget Fisk, ugh. 14 out of 20. Also missed Bill Melton, Minnie Minoso (didn't think he had the power numbers), Sherm Lollar, and the great Greg Walker.
October 27, 200916 yr 13/20 Missed Uribe, Karkovice, Ward, Lollar, Walker, Kittle and Minoso (because I spelled it wrong)
October 27, 200916 yr Missed Minoso can't believe that Uribe and Ward The * for active players helps tremendously. The fact Karkovice and Durham are mentioned anywhere near an all-time home run list is just sad.
October 27, 200916 yr It surprised me that Luke Appling wasn't among the leaders, at least at the bottom of the list. I know he wasn't a power hitter by any stretch of the imagination but the guy played about 20 years for the Sox. I figured if he hit 5 or so a year he'd at least be ahead of Ron Karkovice!
October 27, 200916 yr QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Oct 27, 2009 -> 10:26 AM) The fact Karkovice and Durham are mentioned anywhere near an all-time home run list is just sad. Yes, but Frank, Harold, Konerko, Dye, Thome is an impressive group on a list.
