Pants Rowland
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 12, 2009 -> 04:06 PM) Fun night planned for tonight as I am going to be in the company of a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer on the radio. Every once in a great while, a night like last night comes along. I only lament it will likely be years before another like it comes along. FlaSoxxJim
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 13, 2009 -> 11:39 PM) REMEMBER THE TITANS! Quality suggestion there. Have you ever pondered the parallels between the Titanomachy (the overthrow of the Titans by the upstart Olympian gods) and the Christian mythology of Lucifer's revolt? Other than the outcome of each war, the similarities between these "Heavenly Wars" as well as others occurring around the world are interesting. Pants Rowland
QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Dec 14, 2009 -> 07:10 AM) Quality suggestion there. Parallels abound in mythology and religion, which is why I stopped differentiating the two long ago. To me they are all myths that borrow from each other to explain the unexplained and make the people behave.
