Konerko, Ventura honored in Italian-American Heritage card set

Featured Replies

This list makes me wonder if they've really researched people's heritages or they've just picked every player whose name ended in a vowel?

And, Don Mossi always was a handsome man.

I'm pretty sure Konerko is Polish.

Father Polish, mother Italian. I just looked it up - I thought the same you had, until now.

Say hello to my new avatar. Go Robin!

That painting of Paulie made me laugh, he kinda has a "What the heck is this?" look on his face.

The shadowing around his mouth looks like he has dirt on his face or a weird starter goatee.

Where's Buddy Biancalana? And really...Steve Balboni...really?

Most of those paintings look a little creepy. And it's funny that for most everyone in there they have a younger picture of them... except John Franco. Dinosaur.

I thought the same thing. His bio is even funnier, it mostly talks about how much he struck out swinging.

I count 16 with White Sox connections.

I was a little disappointed to not see Bobby Coluccio in there.

Konerko is looking pretty Kenny Powers there.
