Not gonna happen. What happened last year with Beckham was rare. Mitchell unquestionably needs at least 1 full season in the minors before any realistic talk of him making the big league team starts. chisoxfan09 Posted March 9, 2010 Share Posted March 9, 2010 (edited) I felt pretty confident in writing off Cabrera when he went from the Oriole's future ace to the 12th man in the D-Backs bullpen within three years. He has done nothing to prove that he's anything but a thrower with no control. Optimism is fine, but it's not too early to write off Cabrera. It's been pretty clear that this was the direction he was going towards for a few years. I was rooting for him to have a decent ST (Still early I know) but man his 2 outings have been worse than his past 3 years, just plain terrible. He won´t even make the Rookie squad with these stats.
