You can do all the crazy antics you want, but once you come to the set straddling the pitchers plate you can't have that movement in your legs like that. Watch his lower half after he sets. It's like pre-AB rituals. Superstitions. If it works for him, it works for him. Look at some previous pitchers that had strange motions (with varying degrees of success): Tiant, Valenzuela, Nomo, Fetters....
