The next great pitching motion.....

If MLB '11 The Show adds this in it's game, I will trade for him immediately......

Sammy Gervacio with "The Stare"

That would be nearly impossible with meter pitching, just saying.

Marmol does a similar thing.

yes saw this the other day - amazing ! *bows*

He's got a little Mike Fetters in him.

Some of that borders on a balk. You can do all the crazy antics you want, but once you come to the set straddling the pitchers plate you can't have that movement in your legs like that. Watch his lower half after he sets. It looks like he is rocking back and forth a bit.

I'd want to punch this pitcher in the face if I were a hitter. Weird as hell. I also don't see how it really helps him other than the fact that it might rattle guys the first few times they see it.

Maybe he was foolin' around one day, tried it and started throwing better? It's like pre-AB rituals. Superstitions. If it works for him, it works for him. Look at some previous pitchers that had strange motions (with varying degrees of success): Tiant, Valenzuela, Nomo, Fetters....

dear lord that's just straight up ridiculous.

and that lil bounce he has - totally a balk.
