I don't know how anyone can be surprised the White Sox offense is a trouble spot. They had problems last year when Dye hit almost .300 with 25 homers in the first half and Thome hitting fairly well.

 

Its time Alexei starts hitting or if not, its getting to be time he rides pine until its warm out.

Every great play Beckham makes at second becomes a double edged sword to me.

 

He looks great over there, but it does make you wonder about what kind of player he could be at his natural position.

What is there to suggest that shortstop is Beckham's "natural" position? It's natural because he played there in college?
