I don't get it. Ozzie says he wants speed and versatility to give him production rather than just power, yet he doesn't use it when he has the chance. He took the bat out one of our best hitters to bunt over Pierre, but wouldn't do the same with one of our coldest hitters to get the go ahead run in scoring position? Maybe he just didn't trust Alexei or something, but I don't get why he doesn't use what he wanted this team to be built for.

I could fully believe we'd have a more effective offense than 2005, but I think offense around the league is down quite a bit from then.
