I think that's the most telling early statistic so far about our team's chances...TRADEMARK, "but it's early," 2006 Cardinals, 1983 Chicago White Sox, 2005 Houston Astros, we can be one of the 4 anomalous teams in the history of baseball. Not great odds, especially with our franchise history in these situations.

 

We all know how 1997 started out...that was an even more talented team than this one, for sure.
