I see kids get chewed out for that in little league.

You should never chew out a little leaguer. Only praise them and give them ninth place trophies.

This Sox team would be OK if it played in the 1960s.

Oh I take that back. The defense isn't good enough to win games in the 60s.

:lolhitting

I truly believe, in my heart of hearts, that even Kotsay and Vizquel could have tagged that pitch.

your heart must be misplaced

he actually has an artificial heart. All those years of Wendy's value meals caught up to him.

how can you not turn that dbl play?

I HATE BASEBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Feldman at 6.03 ERA career in APR. Consistently at 86-89 MPH...the same speed some posters here supposedly throw.

DJ's line: "maybe it has something to do with (your confidence in) the team you're pitching against...?"

Who wouldn't be confident pitching against this sadsack offense?

Hamilton 3-3 and Vlad 0-3.

Good call Caulfield.

Guerrero now 2 for 17 against FLOYD.

Beckham with horrible footwork and alignment around the bag, should have been a DP there.

yeah, they take it way too seriously out here. The plus is that kids play year round.

Nice to see us pitch over a mistake!

Indeed. Now these bats need to wake the f*** up.

We didn't even have that good a spring. Most people assumed that we'd start hitting once we got to the regular season.

now lets take advantage of that.

If you want one reason why I like Konerko at first, that last play by Texas is it. He digs that ball easily.

at least tried score runs in spring training lol

Rios should be leading off.

that would be funny, on their way from Texas to NY, the Sox stop off in AZ and go to the Spring Training facility to help try and "find their bats".

Nice steal Rios

How is he still not our leadoff hitter?

you walk kotsay?

Our Manager doesn't believe in OBP. He knows that Pierre is/was fast and that's all that matters.
