Rios continues to make a lot of solid outs. He showed a great approach driving that to right.

Cecil with about 70 pitches through three. He'll be lucky to get through five innings.

That 1-2 pitch broke like a motherf***er.

Peavy has his plus-plus slider going tonight!!

Peavy especially in the last two games is getting late breaking movement with his FB.....those inside pitches to LHB's come back ala Colon at the last moment across the corner of the plate.

JFP!!!

Mercy, that almost looked like a curveball he threw.

And hey, things could be worse.

At least we don't have John Ely and Charlie Haeger as 2/5th's of our starting rotation.

Teahen hits into more 3-6-3 DPs than anyone I've ever seen. Awful, awful player! He better not be in the lineup tomorrow.

Oh Mark...AND on the first pitch of the AB. We should have just bunted him...attempt to play add-on with Peavy looking so good.

Mark Teahen is actually my least favorite player on the team, behind Pierre and Williams.

Perfect place for Alexei to run.

Only 1 SB on the year for GoGo Sox. He's out, Pierre still leads off.

Maybe Ozzie ordered him not to run so that Beckham could hit first next inning?

Daniel Hudson, 4 IP, 3 H, O R, 4 K's....Peavy and Hudson are twins this season statistically.

Phew...way to play Paulie lol..

WOOOOOOO...Gordo needed that!

Some of the biggest slumps end on balls like that.

I hope Peavy gets the perfect game.

I just want to get a win. I could really care less about no-hitter/perfect game. Those always end up so well for us.

I'm far too lazy to look it up... has there ever been a staff with two pitchers with perfect games?

Stupid interference call...Paulie would have gotten an RBI there.

Didn't realize we now had the dubious rank of lowest BA in the majors at .223.

Anything exciting been going on? :-P

Absolutely...suprised it hasn't gone down more after the first two games in this series.

JFP!

there goes the shut out, the perfect game, and the no hitter, all in one swing :(

Way to jinx it guys!

It is still kind of weird seeing Jake Peavy and Alex Rios on this team, no?
