Kinda ironic that Peavy said he would not welcome a rebuilding campagn but he is really sucking wind this year. I wonder if even a new owner would make a difference now.

Nice ab from Teahen.

This season would be so much easier to take if Mitchell wasn't hurt. Remember how we all used to watch Beckham tear it up, while things were falling apart here? That was an encouraging sign for the future, little did we know...

He supposedly is a real great guy, but he truly is one of the most boring players I've ever seen. There''s nothing to get excited about.

He reminds me of a player that would have been solid in the 50s and 60s before the introduction of weight lifting/supplements/etc

Even JR called the Division winning team of 2008 boring. They were boring the second half of 2006, boring in 2007, boring in 2008, boring in 2009 and maybe have even taken it up a notch in 2010. Something has to be done. This "I believe in the talent" BS needs to stop.

Certainly most of 2008 and definitely last year the team was outright boring with this useless offense. End of May is coming and I can hear the crickets chirping already at the Cell.

I can't wait for the chicken and egg argument to come up. Kenny or someone will start with the "if we only had the seats filled" we can pick up X player. But we can't...

These types of horrible losses are attendance killers.

That hit would have been great last night.

10 months ago this is the guy we would want to have at the plate...tonight...I would rather see Omar...

Cmon Bacon ! He started slumping when we stopped the nicknames :P

TAKE THE FIRST f***ING PITCH BECKHAM.

Wow do our hitters not capitalize on a lot of hittable pitches.

BECKHAM!!!!

That a boy Beckham!

Told ya so !

Lol - I don't know who needed that hit more: us or Gordon! : )

Finally a good at bat for Beckham. I remember he used to do this with such ease last year and poof, this year he is a shadow of his rookie year.

You have to hit Rios for Pierre.....nah he is slumping and needs his rest let him sit around and hit for Kotsay...

Can we have Cintron bat here?

If you swing at the first pitch A.J. i'm going to travel back in time and kick your father in the nuts before he can impregnate your mother.
