Are you kidding me? How can i have a negative reaction to a stupid, little league play made by Carlos Quentin? This is a game thread.

 

 

It's just symptomatic of the overall "team malaise," not only making physical but also mental and concentration errors.

 

The whole team is just going through the motions, and it shouldn't be tolerated by the GM or manager.

I was awful in little league growing up, but i always made sure to keep my eye on the ball and close my glove with both hands. Q had a mental lapse, he needs to make the play.

Well that was certainly a s***ty at bat and half inning.

Geez.

More movement at the plate prior to the pitch is probably the last thing that Quentin needed.

This team might be even harder to watch next year if Q, Peavy, Floyd and Beckham don't get their act together.

This is where a decent team like Texas may be smelling blood against a bad team like ours.

Beckham should be playing. He's not going to come out of his funk sitting on the bench. The team is bad. He's our second baseman. Suck it up, and play him....either here or in Charlotte.

Getting swept by the Rangers isn't the worst thing in the world. Going into a series against the Indians with your entire fanbase convinced you're going to get your asses kicked is.

Freddy is on it again. I really hope a contender bites. I'd like to see him get a chance at another ring on that finger.
