QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 7, 2010 -> 06:39 PM)
Rumor is Sox are going to take Ozney with the first pick.

I know you are joking but if they do, everyone should be fired, and it wouldn't surprise me.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jun 7, 2010 -> 05:44 PM)
fathom, the scary thing is that there is even a shred of believability to it.

This is our org of course. It wouldn't surprise me to be honest.

I'm fine with it if its past round 40. He's actually kinda talented.

Naw he can be taken much higher than that. By far the best Guillen player as far as his sons, though that isn't saying much.

Either Cox or Grandal look to be there, draft them and if they dont sign we will have two picks in the top 15 next year.

Same with Sale, Sale, and Choice. Hopefully one of them is the player that the Sox had higher than the starting pitchers.

Sadly after Laumann's quotes from a couple days ago they do not want that option. They want a signable player.

Once you get to guys in the middle of the pack, who knows what happens. I don't care if we draft him, but if its in the 1st 10 rounds, I'll be furious.

Isnt he projected in rounds 5-10? If that is the case, he will be our comp pick at the end of the third round.
