Ha, Lee was out in front of that changeup by a country mile.

Best change-ups he's thrown in a while.

MB56 seems like he has a good feel for that pitch already today.

HUGE strike zone

That was a fastball? The gun said 82.

HUGE strike zone

And Byrd is swinging at anything within a yard of the plate.

Nice K again.

On the high fastball yeah, the pitch low and in said 82.

Nasty changeup. Delicious.

He gawn.

He set that pitch up beautifully

He ought to be, that was a big zone for both pitchers.

It was a cutter, I believe

Mark's average velocity this inning has to be about 82.

So wait, the Cubs lineup actually goes Lee, Baker, Nady, Soriano?

Fathom, you said this was a playoff caliber lineup? That's a Derek Lee away from being Pirates-worthy.

Every fastball has been 85-87 mph

I meant with the changeups.

Way to get out of it!

Alright!

No, I said they were stock full of righties. I actually like Baker and Nady as platoon guys. Good job by Buehrle there!

Looked like he got up to 88 just a couple pitches ago.

Way to leave the 2 runners on base.

I meant a couple weeks ago when you said they had a shot to catch the Cardinals. Even with Aramis Ramirez in there, that'd still be a fairly weak lineup.

He has a really nice change up today. I don't know if the hitters aren't picking it up or what, but they aren't seeing it.

Three good outfielders, and then two guys in Lee/Ramirez that you expect to heat up.

It's got really good movement and he's got the arm slot down.
