Key words: it's not his arm!!!!!!!

the majority of the lat is in the back, but it does run into the upper arm as well....if its strained, theres a good chance of inflammation where the tendon inserts, which is on the humerus adjacent to the biceps and other muscles...so its not completely isolated from his arm, but likely it won't be a long recovery time (at least compared to surgery)....i'll bet he still goes on 15 day DL

Wow, Andruw had a pitch right there to drill on that Weaver pitch.

I'm glad glad it's not his arm, but isn't he ticketed to sit a long time?

Will you be surprised to see Jake again this year?

guess 99.99999% sure isn't as solid as it used to be

Thank god it isn't!!! :)

That muscle for a pitcher, if he strained it, will be difficult for him to pitch until it heals. Likely 2-5 week recovery time, and that's coming from a doctor!

2-5 weeks is fine.

10 minutes ago, you were telling us 2012.

I'd be shocked not to see him again

If Andruw Jones doesn't get a hit here, he needs to be DFA'ed right after the game.

yes, when I thought it was his elbow. Give me some credit, I said after watching the replay again, I thought there was a slight chance it was his side.

DFA HIM!

so much for all those clamoring for Andruw as everyday player

Andruw would look nice in a Pirates uniform right now.

You suck ass Andruw Jones. Kenny, I have no idea what your fascination with him is, we got a solid hot streak from him back in April, but its time for him to go!

I was just going to post the same s***.

My internet is so slow, I can't even load GameDay to watch this there :(

Just popped back on. Glad to see Peavy's status looking a bit better. Good night, folks.

Does Andruw Jones even make solid contact during batting practice? We haven't seen him hit a ball hard in months, it seems.

Well, the rain delay, plus Tony Pena's slow ass pitching more than 1 inning, that equals a long ass game.

ugh leadoff hit for the Angels and NO ONE is warming up.

Well about 5 of us thought there was a chance of that.

You were answering people in the affirmative that he blew out his elbow.

Let's just get him back in late July and we'll be fine.

paulie makes that play better than anyone ....i dont care what UZR says

Wow, 3 times PK has done that in a week after I had never seen him do that before.

Are you seriously a doctor?

I'm not, but I would prescribe you some kind of sedative...

Kidding Fath, you know you're one of my favs...:)

The fan who fell in Texas fell 30 meet from the upper level onto seats below.

He landed on people. 4 people were treated for minor injuries.

When the guy was taken to the hospital he was able to move his extremities and was responding to the paramedics.

Threets getting up in the pen.
