Whatever happened to the old Sunday doubheader? They had getaway days back then, too.

Murphy's Law dictates a lot of baseball, and little sleep, in a short period of time.

6:10 start of Game One. Let's say it's 3:30 game like many AL games, it ends at 9:40. Game Two starts at 10.

Game Two ends at 1:30 a.m.

Tomorrow's game is 1 p.m.

Sox get to hotel at 2:30, assuming they don't drink, go to bed by 3.

Sox wake up at 8 to get to ballpark by 9.

Wow. Maximum sleep is five hours if all goes well. Extra innings?

AL games arent normally 3.5 hours...

is there a problem with the wgn feed or is this because of the fox blackout rules?

if its the latter taht is bull

Does anyone know if WGN will show both games?

Game 2 is on CSN, 30 minutes after Game 1.

Wow did Rios look bad at the plate there. I hope it was due to the shadows, and not because he's just clueless.

It looks and sounds horrid for me too

Freddy throwing 86 mph batting practice already. Ozzie has to have a long leash on him tonight due to the DH debacle.

Nice Freddy!

The over/under on "no doubt about it" tonight from Frank is?

Before Hawk calls him Cy Humber, can someone send him his mediocre AAA stats this year?

When did KC go back to 1985 and kidnap Nolan Ryan?

The KC hitters just look so excited to be facing Freddy. Hopefully he confuses them, but despite the zero runs so far, this looks like BP.

Looks like our scouting report forgot to tell our hitters that Humber throws an offspeed pitch. He had a 6 K/9 inning rate in the minors.

9 up, 9 down...not the same focus that they had at the plate vs Twins

I'll take the over at 521.

Beckham with a real good defensive play to bail out an Alexei blunder.

Nice job Freddy, get us going Juan

WATCH JUAN RUN

Joe West gave us a call due to Juan's exceptional arm slides

Nevermind, no way he could have argued that one against the Sox.

He almost did the safe sign sadly.

Juan and Omar are a great tandem when Pierre reaches. As for Rios, he's just a disaster since the ASB. Way too many unproductive outs.

Fathom I do respect you for getting on Rios. He's kind of off limits on the board, cept for you. I like your willingness to blast the golden boy.

Avoid the DP CQ

Royals are playing like dopes this inning; we need to make 'em pay!!!

Ugh, Quentin's road struggles continue. Getting great pitches to hit, and cannot do anything with it.

How can a lefthanded hitter like Teahen take that pitch? My god.
