August 25, 201015 yr I'll be there. We got tickets in the upper deck on the first base line. My friends want to tailgate, but I want to get my bobblehead and get into the stadium. Maybe I can convince them to try and get one of the bullpen tables.

It's ridiculous how excited I am for the bobblehead, and this day. My only problem is that I'm sitting in left-field.. so, I won't actually see his number on the wall until i make my usual walk around the stadium. When I bought these tickets I had assumed the Sox were out of the race, but them being even remotely competitive makes it even more exciting.

August 27, 201015 yr Statue ceremonies are pregame. I'd suggest getting there as they open the gates to make sure that you don't miss anything.

Some of that though is because they retired their number before they started putting statues of anyone in the OF. That said, yeah, the statue comes later.

August 27, 201015 yr I'm in. BTW got decent seats on StubHub--UD section 533 behind home plate for $66/ticket. BTW $53 for SRO tickets is an outrage. Oh, and you can add another $20 in TM service charges to that.
