August 31, 201015 yr Any news heard, post it here. For those that didn't see or hear yet, Beckham got hit on the hand / wrist by a pitch. Didn't look good. Could be out for the year. =(
August 31, 201015 yr Didn't look good, that's for sure. Especially with the area that our trainer was looking at. He was taken off the field really quickly too. Gut tells me broken bones in his hand. Hopefully it is just a precaution, but he was in a LOT of pain.

August 31, 201015 yr I thought peavys intial synopsis was bad from the start. He walked right off the feild. If the xrays didn't reveal anything broken or fractured that's good news. Hr may miss a few days because of soreness but it's not a year ender.
