I think Quinn is going to end up killing Liddy. Especially after Liddy forged his signature for all of the survelliance stuff. Quinn wants no part of the monster he created with Liddy, and Liddy knows that he can push Quinn because of the secret he has.

The scene with Jordan Chase and his first victim was incredibly creepy and intense. His mindf*** thing with her was crazy

Jordan Chase completely owns that girl, mind and body. She tries to get him to acknowledge him and he wont look at her when he talks to her, and wouldnt let her touch him. It is his entire life, "TAKE IT", and it seems like it all started with her, when the 5 of them raped her and she didnt do anything about it.

Finally caught up with the last 3 episodes (thank God for on demand) and HOLY s***.

Holy freakin crap

Those previews for the finale are such a tease. The wait thru the slow episodes has been worth it.

Just caught myself up on all 59 episodes. Crazy. I think this season has been seriously lacking in creativity, but the finale is setting up as f***ing epic.

I thought last night was supposed to be the finale.

bye bye Liddy. Nice knowing you

I'm guessing Quinn gets framed for Liddy's murder because of the blood on his shoe.

Oh damn, that's so obvious when you say it!

I am guessing that Quinn will come hard after Dexter and catch him with Jordan Chase's dead body. While Quinn and Dexter have a stand-off, Deb will bust in the door with a gun drawn on Quinn, pinning Liddy's murder on Quinn because of the shoe. Chase's dead body will then also be passed off on Quinn. This will leave Dexter in the clear and Quinn will get framed for Liddy and Chase's deaths.

...and our ability to actually root for Dexter will be officially out the window.

There were new writers this season. I think a couple of them were from "24".

Why would that be?

Remember, Quinn has a dark secret in his past. This secret could justify Dexter letting Quinn take the fall.

What about Lumen? Will she live? It is Julia Stiles so I doubt she is on the show anymore after this season, but that doesn't mean she will be killed.

No wonder the storylines seemed recycled. 24 got kind of predictable and boring for awhile until the last half of the final seasons. They would constantly recycle storyline. I do have to say though, that the last few episodes have really saved season. I can't wait for the finale now.

Quinn needs to stay, he's too interesting. Keep him around until the end.

I agree and I don't think he is a bad enough guy to leave the show one way or another.

Kinda disappointed with the ending. It's like everyone gets a fresh start now, and I don't like that.

I think it leaves Dexter open in season 6 to just be an absolute badass.

Why is that? And I too was disappointed with the ending. Turned out roses for everyone, and no sort of shocking cliffhanger at the end.

Because of the fresh start. The way I interpreted the end was that he kind of came to the conclusion that he just isn't going to find someone who can handle the real him and that he's done with the love connections. I'm really anxious as to what the hell any kind of plot could be in season 6.

You still have the possibility of Quinn finding out about Dexter's real life. And also the story with Deb, as there is a lot of speculation that she may know about Dexter also. Then, if I'm not mistaken, you have the open-ended Trinity case that they could go back to. Kyle Butler is still MIA.

And for those craving the end-of-season cliffhanger, that ONLY happened in season 4 with Rita/Trinity.

Yeah. All the seasons end up being wrapped up. Even Ritas death was not really a cliffhanger. We knew who did it.

I felt unfulfilled by the finale but enjoyed it. Glad Lumen left and Dexter saving Quinn's butt was kind of unexpected.

I thought it was the worst season. It was still decent but nowhere near as good as previous.

I would agree with this.

Also saw that Amazon has the first 4 seasons on Blu Ray for just over $100. Bought.
