The movie was made in 1963 and was really good and really scary. There was a remake which was pretty crappy. See the original. I'm apparently the only that listed it.
October 22, 201015 yr Nice, I didn't expect Jacob's Ladder to be on there. It was my #7 movie. IMO, the movies high up on the list are the most interesting for me (even if it only takes 3/4 votes to earn a spot) because you figure the top 10 will include mostly well known titles. The horror films around here are the type of genre specific movies which appeal to some, but not most.
October 23, 201015 yr How the heck did the Omen did not make it? And I hope that is for Ringu. The American Remake is much better anyways. I'm guessing it will be way up there.

October 24, 201015 yr Yea, I actually wasn't sure if "Aliens" was considered a horror film. I definitely would've listed it if I had known. Sometimes the whole sci-fi/horror distinction can get blurry.
