How does this make any sense? Chicago is a large market that would draw well in the finals, and the idea that the refs are rigging it for Miami so the series would end earlier is just moronic. If anything, the refs would want Chicago to win tonight, so the series goes longer.

No, the NBA wants Lebron in the finals. Chicago may be a bigger tv market but Miami would get more of the casual fans watching.

 

 

And the refs would want Miami to win so they can get to 3 wins and almost assure them of being in the Finals. You let Miami get to 3-1, have Chicago win game 5 and let Miami finish it off in 6.
