Seven Big Ten schools on that list. No other conference has more than 3.

I assume the guaranteed TV money plays a big part in that. Northwestern probably gets the "Chicago's Big Ten team" thing to its advantage in an evaluation as well. In pure $$ NU makes some sense, considering they spend so little.

It would incredibly cool if he went to Depaul.

Will somebody please explain to me the allure of setting things on fire (couches?) and turning over cars when your team wins someething big? I have never understood this. It's right up there with putting anchovies on pizza. Who the hell does these kinds of things and WHY?

I started the thread for next season. We'll leave this open a couple of more days until talk from last year dies down.
