April 23, 201114 yr I run a hotel...one of my regulars brought me a spring training Sox cap two weeks ago...I'm burning it tonight. The team is 2-10 since he gave it to me. We suck in spring training every year...there must be some link there.

April 24, 201114 yr I've been in denial about the mlb.com package jinx for me. I bought it the last game of the TB series in Chicago...that would make them 3-10 since I got it...ewww...didn't realize it was that bad. Well, hopefully burning the hat will do it...I'll cancel mlb.com premium if I have to...I'll give it two more weeks after the hat burning.

April 24, 201114 yr I am SO amused by the people who say "it's only April" when, if we're being honest, the reason we missed the playoffs last year is the hole we dug in April and May was so big that extended periods of hot play afterwards weren't enough to overcome it. April 24, 201114 yr I dont think I've ever lost interest in a team so early into a season then this baseball season. The NHL and the NFL Draft will keep me going sports wise this week.

I think I deserve the right to be a bandwagon fan, however, if the Sox somehow get their s*** together.
