Terrible, he gets overpowered by a dancer's husband.

Geez is getting your eyes checked every year part of being a baseball player ?

Christ, Dunn is brutal...

Balta, you notice how much Dunn is having to dive across the plate to hit anything on the outer half? He really might be too far off the plate, as he used to have great power to the opposite field.

It seems like 4 hours since Peavy was on the mound.

Hey Adam, maybe you should swing a f***ing bat during the offseason you bum!

Watch him on the side view of his swing. I don't think I've seen a Sox player since Uribe whose head was moving so far forwards during the swing.

Tribe losing again

Exactly

Jake has them completely off balance early.

Exactly

The issues that Dunn, Rios and Beckham have/had are pretty easy to see, so I'm sure Walker is doing his best to fix them. I'm sincere with that actually.

Well he sure is acing that exam!

I grew up watching Peters, Horlen, John and Wood.

Peavy is in that category of pitcher.

No one and I mean no one on this staff comes close to him in ability.

You young folks have never seen an ace pitcher on the Sox.

Behold, this is an ace.

Penny wild as hell today, sould take advantage

If you've noticed, Beckham's has already had serious work. He's striding much, much shorter than he was 2 weeks ago.

Morel really killed that one!!! LOL I'll take it tho

Players will resist the change at times because they're going to be at least somewhat comfortable with the mechanics they have, even if they are bad. They don't want to try to break out of a slump feeling even more uncomfortable at the plate than normal.

Needless to say they are wrong and probably do need to change, but sometimes it isn't clear especially for a player whether mechanics or approach are in need of a change and when to start messing with mechanics instead of approach or vice versa.

Good work by both Juan and BMo.

Juan looking a lot better of late

You have to admit that Juan has been a different (and adequate) player for a little while now.

Ouch.
