Who are the "high ceiling" tough signs from this class? Who will be watching like we did last year for Grimes, Goodwin, and Terry?

Don't know why, but I have a good feeling about Keegan Linza. I might take him as a new AAP, since a bunch of my guys (Dubler, Lucy, G Johnson) are non-prospects now, and Shirek is marginal at best.

You just like his name

That was the original reason. Then I saw he was drafted in Buehrle's round. Then I read about him a bit, and he actually looks intriguing. Huge improvement YoY. Read a story about him going to some sort of national camp as a high school 9th grader and already throwing 84 at that point.

The first "high" pick to sign seems to be the guy picked right in front of Walker.

According to info relayed by MLB, the first ’11 draft pick to sign is Blue Jays supp 1st rd (46th) Joe Musgrove, prep righty from Calif.

Can we also list any UDFA's signed?

Yes. Usually we try to as we find them, but that's not always as easy.

If you find any out, listing them here would be awesome, just for that reason.

Current NDFA's in the system I am aware of...

Dan Remenowsky

Brandon Kloess

Ryan Kussmaul

All relievers. Who else is there, if anyone knows offhand?

Nothing like starting the dream of becoming a professional baseball player, only to immediately get sent to Great Falls, Montana.

I'm sure the scenery is nice there. I only live about 15 minutes away from his college.

Should be a gauge at what they will offer Walker.

It is literally two to three days after the draft for 49 of our 50 picks. The teams most of these guys will be playing on don't even start playing for another week and a half. It is still reeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaalllllllllly early.

How long was it before Beckham signed the year he was drafted. I know it takes time.

Beckham took a while. It was a couple of days before the deadline to get him inked.

So Blake Drake has a twitter, and his twitter name is @BlakeJakeDrake. Man, I really hope Jake is his middle name! lol.

Anyway, found it kind of interesting that according to his twitter, he went up to Chicago on Jun 2nd and visited US Cellular field. One of his tweets reads...

"Hit 97 on the stadium gun at US cellular "

I assume he is talking about himself. But when I have looked up scouting reports for this guy, it says he throws about 91. And I looked up a scouting video from 2009, and it showed him only hitting 88. Could he really have ramped up his velo that much? I understand "hitting 97" is not maintaining it, but I assume it means he can pump it in at 94-95 with some frequency.

Kyle McMillan was just at Rush getting an MRI, they had maybe 5 doctors in there looking at it. I assume it was his shoulder. He then took off with a scout to attend the game tonight. They were talking about him going to great falls.

Can't hold truth to it, but his Facebook lists him as Blake Jake Drake. He's on Jacob Petricka's friends so I'm pretty sure its legit.
