6/14 Sox @ twinkies PPD

Yeah, I just hate looking in the rear-view mirror and seeing this frigging team, especially given the Sox recent history against them. They've been winning ballgames lately, 9-3 in June. In six of those they've score 6+ runs (Sox did this as well).

all they did was pick on KC and CLE

Radar looks bad, but hopefully the system will weaken over the next few hours.

It would be fitting if the Sox first rain out of the season happened up there.

Twins Line-up: Revere-Casilla-Cuddyer-Young-Hughes-Valencia-Dinkelman-Tolbert-Butera.

First team to 3 wins?

No Kubel, no Thome, no Span, no Morneau or Mauer.

However, there will still be some no named plucked from their minors to bloop us to death.

Yup. 30% chance of showers at game time, rising to 1000% by 12:00.

Should the game run into extras the rain will get it, and an early delay could hurt.

As long as we don't wait until the top of the 38th to put some runs on the board, I suspect we shall WIN.

Let us all gather by the river... The Ole Miss and throw those ole Twinkies in the water. Let's sweep!

IF we don't get a sweep I would be disappointed.... this lineup is worse than Oaklands and Seattle

Huge series. Huge. Winning or sweeping would be a big step for the team. Losing 2 of 3 is bad but not the end of the world. Getting swept would be awful for this team.

I am going to pick Dinkleman to be the bulls*** luck player of the day.

A sweep really? This is the Twins we are talking about, and the team that is very hot right now. I'd be happy with 2/3.

In Minny, yeah, I'd be thrilled with 2/3.

Gotta believe Juan knows his days are numbered, barring a dramatic turnaround.

It will be interesting to see how he responds. I'm guessing, if he gets on base, he'll be stealing no matter what, and likely running into more outs.

The Sox should kick the Twins asses all over Target Field. Sweep these bums!

Revere gets my vote. Sox fans are gonna hate that dude.

That's a perfect name for a guy who gets cheap hits.

I have never seen him before, but he has 5'6" 120 lbs Twins Grinder written all over him.

Only reason I picked him.

Guess who isn't in Charlotte's lineup this evening?

Make it so, KW!

Glad it is on WCIU, can watch at work.

Rain is falling in Minnesota apparently. Tarp on field. Not looking good at all for this game.

I'll contain my enthusiasm by pointing out he hasn't had an offday in a while.

He is in Chicago, becoming a citizen of the USA. Per Merkin.

Hopefully he heads north from there.
