The biggest problem with Pierre/Morel batting 1/2 is that they make just a lot of outs. Heck, give Rios a try at the 2nd spot if we're going to keep playing Pierre.

He's pretty much doing exactly what he should be doing. The problem is that 4 other guys in the lineup aren't, so instead of hitting 8 he's defaulting into the 2 spot.

If Teahen could start hitting better, he would be a nice leadoff candidate with his ability to walk. Granted he doens't defend well enough to play everyday.
