2 batters have faced Peavy, 2 batters have been struck out.

I love Peavy's competitiveness. His stuff isn't half bad today, either.

Gameday has him clocked at 94 95

Three up three down. :notworthy Jake

Nationals dodge Danks thinking they'll get a shot at a stretched BP. Who comes in? JFP. Keep it up, Jake.

Nationals See the guy that gave up their first runs last night, and then he holds them silent for 2.1 innings. Keep that up, Bruney.

A 3 hit day for Morel.

Ball doesnt seem to be traveling that well today, a few flyballs that have seemingly been hit hard havent gone that far (both Sox and Nationals)

Yep, the beard did good.

Quentin/Konerko/Ramirez are 0/7 (1 sac fly)

It does not matter who pitches Sox plain suck next starts after Sox guys are getting blown up.

We may need to hold them to a shutout to win this.

All things considered this is a pretty damn great combined pitching performance we have had today.

Jesus is Lord!

Here comes pitch 100 for Gorzelanny

14-107 a .131 batting average with 51 strikeouts at home for Dunn. Even his biggest detractors would have a hard time believing those numbers.

Some team won on a walk off balk a couple of nights ago.
