Well, 6 IP, 2 ER, not terribly bad.

One thing that I noticed about Jackson this season, is that he lacks an "out pitch." all of his secondary pitches are able to be fouled off very easily by hitters. He does not have great stuff. he just throws hard.

Yep, which is odd considering his great performance in our home opener.

Yep, we have to feel lucky about it. Have never seen him throw so many high offspeed pitches in a game.

Jackson has no out pitch but had the best k/9 of anyone on the Sox staff.

I guess we have really high expectations.

Can't remember if he had a sharp breaking curve or other pitch that seemed to fall off the table before

Well clearly he knows who Will Ohman is, so he's watched something.

Nah, he reads game threads.

IT's not all that odd. He's a fastball/slider guy. Think Sergio Santos.

If that fastball and slider are both well located in a game, then he will come out as basically unhittable. He will destroy people.

However, if he's missing either of those 2 pitches, either in control or in break, then he'll be a 1 pitch pitcher. That 1 pitch can still be a solid pitch, a 96 mph fastball can get you a long way through a game, but he won't dominate.

You guys don't think he'll be back for one more inning?

If you seriously are unhappy with 6 innings 2 runs out of your starting pitcher, and say that you wont miss him after a start like that, I dont even know how anyone can take the post seriously.

"Quality Start"

Crain is now up.

He shouldnt be, Ozzie should trust his pen. No reason to let Jackson get in trouble.

Very nice Rios!

Was about to post, Rios needs to steal here.

Santana has been wild with his throws.

Get this run in and break out the brooms.

That's what speed can do. Too bad you have to be on base to steal...

ESPY!

I really think the only reason he is playing lately is to try to sucker someone into trading for him.

Credit to Teahen, as he showed good balance on that offspeed pitch!

haha Vizquel throws the bat at the ball.

Disagree, it's cause they've given up hope in Morel.

Seems the opposition picks up the White Sox signs fairly easily. Either that or Ozzie is way too predictable.

Teahen finally gets a hit. Good.

Gets thrown out. Bad.

Cleveland is playing s***ty. Put them away.

Wow Omar blew that one.

How so? Gotta say, that was pretty shady by him though.

Wow Omar blew that one.

It was a pitch out on a hit and run.

Just have to get 9 outs.
