I go on very rare occasions to see the team in person and hang out with friends because I can't totally quit it (and I only go if the tickets are GREATLY discounted or free for me). But, that's about it. The last few years before this, I was in the 10 to 12 game range in person. I'm not going to be at half that this year. Just not worth the time or money. I'll watch it on tv since I'm a fan just as much as I always do, but I can't go as much as usual based on principle right now. I can't support this manager or GM like that.

The only chance of that is if there is a GM out there that is worse than KW.

I didn't see the game but the good thing is they got 7 inning out of Peavy.

Way too much reliance by some people on here of guys like Dunn and Rios turning their seasons around after they haven't shown one sign of life all season. The season will be over for the Sox by Sunday, and then we'll have to pray for some waiver deals.

 

Williams is a lousy GM...what makes anyone think he would be better at dismantling?

He'll get fleeced for the little talent that exists on this team

 

Overmatched....I hate this team, at least 2007 had the excitement of Fields during the 2nd half.

Just watched highlights tonight.

 

-- Lee hit two homers for Pitt. What a concept trying to improve one's offense via trade.

 

-- Zack Greinke laid down a perfect bunt tonight for a hit. He can bunt and Lilly and most all the Sox can't. Laughingstocks.

I'm pretty much in the same boat, except I won't go at all unless the tickets are free and that I usually go to a minimum of 10 to 12 a year.
