Season Review from Tigers site

Featured Replies

Very hyperbolic.

Honestly, I don't want to see a competitor's fanbase blasting the Sox, we do enough of that ourselves.

What an ill-informed article.

He makes absolutely no mention of Sergio Santos, as if he was not aware Sergio was on our team.

Basically, the article is about as good as if I had decided to write a review of the Tigers right now, without doing any research first.

Is Humber really a free agent? I was not aware of that...

No, he's an auto re-sign. He's not even arb. eligible yet, I believe.

That was pretty poorly written.

ace Jake Peavy was 100% healthy, and he was expected to anchor a strong staff

No.

Our bullpen was one of team strengths I think, plus what exactly was historic about the tigers run.

I guess that they've never won the AL Central and have collapsed/choked away divisions to the Twins in 2006 and 2009 after blowing significant leads.

Wow was that awful.

You don't even mention under "team strengths" the Sox pitching staff, which still now is better than what the Tiggers have overall, and is the biggest strength of the Sox. Really?

I'm guessing you wrote this while still drunk from celebrating your team's division win. Or I'm hoping so anyway.

The best part of the article was a comment to it.

a lot of what made the Sox so bad was poor clutch performances all around. "Clutch" may not be a real talent,

Outside of 2005 I can only describe them as unclutch. This bigger the game the smaller the Sox.
