Meal Deliveries

Featured Replies

My mom is recovering from surgery and I wanted to send her a couple dinners, but not really interested in pizza delivery. There was a couple home meal catering services I remember, but they both went out of business. Any ideas? Basically I would like a few dinners she can put in the refrigerator.

Subway, Jimmy Johns, and Burger King all deliver!

Meals on Wheels.

I remember a coupe at home businesses that offered that service. basically the idea is, if I was still living in the area I would be bringing her a couple dinners. I would also be freezing my ass off, but that is another story. I am trying to find something closer to home made.

You said no pizza, but if I was laid up and someone sent me frozen Lou Malnati's pies I think it would be the best gift ever.

Honeybaked Ham caters but doubt they deliver.

Isn't that what Peapod is?

They're more groceries, not actual meals, I think.

There are delivery services that go to local restaurants. They could provide her with a menu and you could give them a credit card authorization form. Then they could bring her food whenever she wanted it.

This, except replace Malnati's with Giordano's.

Get someone from the board to do it.

You can go to grubhub.com and pick her out something depending on where she lives. I have about 7 or 8 restaurants there that will deliver to me.
