Do you mean that Nike has more say on the uniforms design than the teams do?

Depends on how much they paid for the rights here.

The teams have the final say. They own there logo and the rights to it, etc.

I bet Nike could pay enough for that to not be true.

You can pay enough for anything to be true or not true.

They could pay enough to change the Yankee uniforms, you think they would get a good return on that investment?

Like we said in the NBA thread, it really is only a matter of time until soccer style corporate logos are on people's uniforms in this country.

Yeah. People are tweeting that they don't look that different.

Except the Seahawks. Which I guess are awful.

Seattle's uniforms are hideous

Don't hate.

They removed GSH and moved the numbers on top of the shoulders for the Bears. Don't like the change.

Edit: Nevermind, GSH is still there.

I think Halas was a great innovator and early NFL pioneer, but "GSH" should have been removed from the jerseys 20 years ago.

why does it suck that it gets leaked? Its a measurement of one aspect of a football players ability. how is it any different than if an OT benches only like 15 reps? Thats televised

I don't necessarily think being judged on your strength and intelligence are quite the same thing.

It is what it is, these things will always leak. I just feel bad for the guy knowing he is going to be known as the guy who got one of the lowest scores ever in the NFL.

That is ridiculous.

Nick Fairley arrested for Marijuana possession.

Nike touts what it calls a “lock-down fit” on its jerseys, making them tighter around the shoulder pads and harder to grasp. Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher told SI.com the new jerseys will make it “harder to get held, which is good since I get held on every play.”

According to Nike, this year’s NFL uniforms will also be lighter, will keep the players wearing them cooler, and will stay drier than the materials used on the old uniforms.

PFT

Ha! The Lions seem like they are trying to make a run at the Portland Jailblazers. Weed, Cars, and Cops

No one else has memorialized a dead former owner longer than this.

Where's the Packers' Vince Lombardi or Curly Lambeau memorials?

Owner. Founder. Patriarch.

What exactly is wrong with memorializing him?

Aren't the Bears still memorializing WWI?

He was one of the main original founders of the ENTIRE NFL.

knightni is doing the classic "I said something stupid but f*** you if you think I'm admitting it" routine. Been there, done that.
