I would like to know when Sox fans believe that the White Sox will next make the playoffs. Will it be this decade? Let's hear your predictions.

2016.

Sorry, I can't seem to get poll added. I wanted the options:

2015

2016

2017

2018

2019

2020+

How about 2013...expanding the wild card to add another team might get us in

When the username is "GioHudson," it's pretty clear what the agenda is from the very beginning.

lol. I was surprised his/her account was approved. Had to be that Heads that approved it. Nobody is more negative than that guy.

I would say 2013. That is of course provided the world doesn't end this December.

A user named "GioHudson" joins, starts a thread with a poll asking when we'll see the playoffs again, and doesn't even want to include any of the next three seasons. How many more Eeyores does this site need?

Looking at what KW has been doing, I think his target is 2013 or maybe 2014. But 2012 will tell us a lot about the key pieces. How Beckham/Dunn/Rios do to meet expectations, how Morel/Flowers/De Aza/Reed/Sale develop, and how all these new pitching prospects do in the minors, will tell us how likely it is that the plan may work for 2013.

2020+ ??!

2013 by the way. :gosox1:

I'm changing my answer to 2015. Not even close to happening this season. I also think Kenny is going to be forced to reload even further which pushes back the time table even more requiring development time for newly acquired prospects. Couple that with the Tigers in their prime for the near future, I don't see the Sox doing much for a few seasons.

You watch.

Everything works against the White Sox.

First it was the player's strike, now it will be the damn Mayans.

2012. I'll let them prove me wrong, until then, they have my support.

I've always believed the world would end when the Cubs were one strike away from a World Series win with a 10 run lead.
