fathom
First three batters have reached against him. Doesn't seem to have much on his pitches, but I was watching the webcast with no sound.

Harry Chappas
Sox have never fared well against Tyson Ross. Maybe the White Sox shouldn't be the last team to report to spring training.

NorthSideSox72
Anyone been able to see what was going on with Jake? The results are a little disturbing, but how concerned I am depends on what is wrong. Or what he was trying to do out there.
iguchi=dank
QUOTE (fathom @ Mar 12, 2012 -> 04:33 PM) 2 1/3 innings, 6 runs for Peavy I'm excited to post negatively about the white sox team this year. Even though I can't wait for the season to start and for extra innings to give me hawk and stoney.. lets be honest and say we aren't expecting much this year.. Thank god for 200 dollar fantasy baseball Fathom, Balta, its fun to see you all posting in game threads, lets enjoy this season as much as we can, i'm back, ready to post my 2 cents here and there. Peavy giving up 6 runs in 2 and change chuckled me enough to say hi.

I have absolutely no expectations for the squad this year, and to be honest, if they win 65 games but Beckham/Morel/Viciedo/Sale perform at a solid level, I won't consider the season a bust. The Ginger Kid
On the bright side, doesn't look like a closer will be getting a lot of work.
LVSoxFan
Wow I can't recall a season in recent memory with so little expectation. Have you guys seen the new slogan btw? Hint: it ain't "All In."
elrockinMT
It's spring training I think. Maybe jake is just throwing to gain arm strength? We want to win, but really at this point it isn't the same need as the regular season. Plus am I wrong that it seems one pitcher in each game is getting knocked around and the others do pretty good? Come on isn't that positive? Please tell me it is!
Dick Allen
I'd be more worried if all these guys were in midseason form right now. If they still suck on April 6th, then its time to complain, but this is only an exercise to get ready for that time. As happens every year, some of these guys are going to be better than everyone thinks, some will be exactly what everyone thinks and some will a lot worse than what most think. We just have to hope when the games count, most are better.
