Sale's change-up has been pretty dirty today. He should be able to get by with that 94-95 MPH fastball, sweeping slider, and the change-up he has been featuring today.

 

5 ks through 3 IP, and those include strikeouts of Votto, Phillips, and Rolen.

I could be talking out of my ass, but Morel looks a lot more confident at the plate. Seems to drive through his swing more, less defensive.

Hahaha. Joey Votto turned his shoulder away in fear, and then Sale's slider snapped over the plate for a strike. That's pretty awesome when you can scare away one of the best hitters in baseball.

Escobar isn't a lock. He may be more valuable playing everyday in AAA. My bet is still on Johnson.

I would hope it's Escobar. He isn't a good enough prospect to have to worry about him getting full time in AAA, IMO. He is a slick defender, can lay down a bunt, has good speed.

Chris Sale seems like the only person in those promos who knows how to talk and move around. Thornton's was ok.

I would hope its Escobar too, I mean between Dunn, Paulie, Lillibridge and Flowers splitting time between 1B and DH, we really don't need any more 1B. (Flowers to see time at DH when not catching).
