Chris needs to show some improvement today. Cold and windy conditions might help the outcome (if it's not blowing out)

Morel getting a chance to bat second. I like this lineup. Viciedo moved down in the order. C'mon Lillibridge .. be the biggest baddest 9th place hitter today....oh no Dunn at 1st. Just noticed that. Please strike everybody out Chris Sale.

Gonzalez: Beckham replacing Lilli in the lineup designed to get Gordon more at bats.

Hey, Dunn has been playing pretty well in the few times he's been at 1st.

LOL, what else would that be designed for? Put Gordon in lineup, designed to give the other 8 fewer at-bats.

According to mark gonzales "No cuts have been announced, but the locker stalls of outfielders Jared Mitchell and Trayce Thompson, catcher Michael Blanke and pitchers Charlie Leesman and Simon Castro were empty Monday morning."

Phillips 4

Cozart 6

Votto 3

Rolen DH

Heisey 9

Frazier 7

Francisco 5

Mesoraco 2

Phipps 8

Bailey 1

It's unsettling how long it took me to realize that is the Reds' lineup. Sitting here thinking "damn, we're playing the no-name of no-name prospects today!"

I hope that's a drop in the bucket. Get it down to mid-30's today. They're at 51 with 2 weeks left.

No big surprises there.

You need more than that around to finish out games. I'm sure the Sox have a pretty good idea of the final 27 or so guys. Its probably possible someone outside of that makes the team these final 2 weeks, but very unlikely.

They can bring guys in from minor league camp for games, but as far as being in the clubhouse, clear it out and start becoming the team that will open in Texas.

Mitchell played in 11 games and was 6-for-20 with a homer and a double, seven Ks and no walks. Confidence booster. Thompson was 3-for-9.

Have to be happy with Mitchell's progress. Just hope that he keeps it up.

That strikeout rate is way to high.

Gordo's reppin' some sweet white shades today.

Sale struck out Votto and Rolen, making them both look stupid.

Not sure if it was posted, but it's now Beckham in 2 spot, Morel batting 9th.

These White Sox adds between innings are straight up brutal.

Beckham with a hit in bottom of 1st. De Aza, Rios and Konerko fly outs.

Sale is going to wind up being Kenny's best pick. Kid is flat filthy.

Sale finally looks like a starting pitcher to me today. Very fluid.

Lets hope he sticks

3IP, 1 hit, 5 K's

Looking nasty

Sale looking NASTY with that slider.
