Ozzie won't be in the MLB for 3 years. It nullifies his contract and $7.5M. He doesn't love the game enough for that.

Other than maybe Dusty Baker, I couldn't imagine a worse manager to hire for a young team.
November 1, 201213 yr Actually putting Ozzie with the Royals might benefit the Sox. It almost looks like they are getting their act together down there. Hiring Ozzie should knock them back a couple of years.

He's a terrible fit for a team full of young players. The guy can't even handle his own children.
