Wow, keep throwing him fastballs AJ. Just ridiculous pitch calling.

He called a bunch of change ups earlier. His location is bad right now. What do you want AJ to do?

Well, this wasn't predictable!

Four fastballs in a row to Santana, 93-96 MPH, the fourth was one center cut and right in the middle of his happy hitting zone.

wish I knew what they had against Reed

thank you Alexei. Not bad enough that you're total s*** at the plate, you have to choke up the game at short

You serious?

I'm so furious at the entire White Sox organization right now.

SOS this is beyond old.

You can see it coming for miles. It's actually funny.

Not throw 4 straight fastballs and try to get the guy to chase on the 1-2 pitch?

The real White Sox have finally shown up. It's going to be a long, long season.

ITT: 94-96 mph fastballs are slow

only when thrown consecutively and down the middle

Who didn't see that coming? It's going to be a long dry season...

Sox can not take advantage of opportunities and the opponent has gotten the big hits all season long. I thought sale was the closer? Ventura or whoever is in charge of the pen needs to realize that matches can be helpful.

I guess all our ecstatic feelings over Danks doing good is out the window now? Sale as the closer?

Using Sale in this situation was a disaster. Just like I called it.

He completely missed his location on that 1 pitch. It was way up. As were the previous fastballs.

Amazing what happens when you don't throw Duncan a fastball. Big out here against Choo.

WHY IS ADDISON REED EVEN IN THE MAJOR LEAGUES!?!?!?!!?

And shut up Hawk, the damage has already been done. We needed that strikeout a batter ago, bud.

If the Sox lose and the Bulls lose Im going to have a bad night

Zach Stewart for next inning when the game's tied?

LOL

Not that it matters what I think, but they might as well use Jones in the bottom of the 9th if the game is still a game (meaning the Indians haven't already scored again here).

Someone should tell Sale he was supposed to strike out the guy BEFORE Duncan

Hawk is so happy about out #2 and he's gonna be so pissed here before the night is over. LOL.

He's failing out of the bullpen on purpose so they put him back in the rotation.

Hawk is absolutely pissed off.

You guys need to settle down. Chris Sale is a very good pitcher, I can't see why you'd ever be mad having him come in a tight situation against a lefty heavy lineup

I'm assuming Robin went with Sale to get the 2 inning save because he's obviously a former starter and is about as fresh as he can be, so why not go to him early to get him some extra work too?

I don't f***ing know.

Chris Sale just threw 26 max effort pitches there that inning.

Lovely idea. Maybe they are intentionally trying to blow out his elbow and just get TJ over with sooner rather than later.
