Now please name Reed the closer, figure out what to do with Sale, Santiago to AAA and Thornton dealt to the highest bidder.

Sounds reasonable to me.

I'd say the biggest thing is let Reed close when we have a lead in the ninth.

It is funny. Now that I've given up on the team it's much easier to take and just laugh at the ineptitude of this team the last 2 seasons and six weeks.

Here comes the walkoff. Suddenly the Indians own the White Sox. Way to blow a late three-run lead, White Sox.

Here come da walkoff.

I repeat: Why do the White Sox never win games like this at home?

Two outs and bam ... Indians to break the tie.

Santiago looks s***ty vs. lefties even.

Our team blows.

That's because you are the best fan I've ever seen.

I don't know how this team has not driven you insane and gotten to you as it has many of us. I'd be OK if it would just act normal once in a while; you know, win at home, go .480 on the road, not lose so many heartbreakers, etc.

Sigh.

interesting

Where did you even get that post from?

Sigh.

What is your point. If the Sox stabilize their performance a bit maybe some of us will come off the ledge and shut up more during games.

The team deserved the meltdown as it deserves praise for the nice win.

Remember if Santiago gives up one more hit, this is another crushing loss.

One, there is no guarantee a base hit scores a run from 2nd.

Second, how does the team "deserve the meltdown" ever?

Regardless of what happened tonight, it will be interesting to see when Sale pitches again. I don't think he'll be able to go tomorrow, so the Thursday off day is nice as well for him to recover.

Nice win I really hope whoever is making the bullpen decisions wakes the f*** up as poor bullpen management is killing this team. Maybe Coop is doing it and guillen realized Coop is not real good at it.

No reason to give Santiago that job over Reed who has been doing it much longer.

People think its fun to drop the sky is falling crap because they never get called out for it when theyre embarrassingly, pathetically, foolishly wrong.

Sigh.

If he has given up on this team like he says, then he needs to go away because his negativity and absolutism is so damn annoying.

The way the team has been pissing away games, they do not deserve the benefit of the doubt from fans.

If and when they stabilize the program, they can expect fans to believe and not blast them whenever they can.

I don't take back anything I said in the game thread. I do congratulate Rios for his blast and Reed for his closing work. And Danks for a good start.

BTW, since you trashed Dirks, he's now 5-6 with 4 RBI for a nice 1.024 OPS on the year :)
