Another fairly solid out for Rios.

Rios line drive, catches off Dempster's glove and that deflects it right to the 2b.

I believe he also speaks Spanish.

If that's the case, he should be fine (unless the Cubans speak Uribe :P)

Had Dempster on the ropes, built up the pitch count, good start.

good changeup to Johnson. Now keep using that against lefties, too

the stock photo of Dayan is hilarious.

Quickly 2 out.

Two weakly hit balls to start the game.

Good start.

Quick 123 for the Danks.

Hopefully the Cubs are good medicine for what ails Mr. Danks.

Where'd Danks velocity go? I'm as close to certain as I can be that he isn't hurt. He can't throw a 90 mph fastball for a strike.

Danks put a nice cut on that pitch...who knows, he might be better than Morel (today is the beginning of the end for Morel jokes, make 'em while they're hot)

I like this start...Danks being efficient for once. Not falling behind every hitter.

I haven't been watching the gun on every batter but the first 2 pitches to Baker were 92 mph fastballs before he grounded out on the Change.

6 outs in a row, nothing hit remotely hard.

Danks looking good so far.

those were his 2 best pitches in a while. Hopefully it's a start.

My god I didn't realize how pathetic the Cubs lineup is.

And no one believes me when I say that every team has a bunch of guys on their roster that don't seem to belong in MLB.

The pessimist in me says he will have that 1 bad inning where he can't throw a strike. Seems to happen every start.

Typically it is the type of thing that you can see developing the whole game. No bad signs as of yet.

I can't believe Fox screws this up. I can't watch the Sox-Cubs game. Bummer.

KC-Arizona is on.

Why is there not more outrage about losing Chris Young?

Who did we trade him for? He's a pretty damn good player.

Let's go Adam, hurt a ball.
