How old is Quintana?

Is he a surprise or considered a good prospect?

23.

I consider him both. He signed as a minor league FA out of the Yankees system this offseason. I was shocked they let a 23 year old lefty with good numbers go.

D2 has impressed.

23.

Wasn't considered as anything.

Signed by Mets at age 17 out of Colombia, released within a year. Picked up by Yankees, pitched all last season for their High A team in the FSL.

Everyone's raving about his stuff (Ventura compared him to Alvarez), his "heavy" ball coming into RHHer's, usually throws 88-91 MPH but keeps his pitch counts low...esentially a two pitch pitcher but has been very effective this season, although nobody really knows his eventual staying power.

Thanks. I didn't know he was a soft tosser.

Why don't you go find DA and have some beers.

DA is the best poster.

Wow...I didn't like that strike 3 and then they call him for interference...sheesh.

Danks' success makes me even more on the fence about dealing Tank.

Youngsters showing mistakes

I'm going to Flowers "Weeds" from now on.

Youngsters showing mistakes

Split-squad lineups in Spring Training usually see that happen :)

Well...looking at the replay, not a bad call on either count. Pitch was good enough and Tyler mindlessly stepped toward the dugout after the called 3rd strike.

Hard to judge Danks though when he's in the middle of a hot stretch.

I can't wait to see the Feathered hit...I'm predicting 3 homers

Blew Ethier away.

Lot of no shows for a "sellout" today.

Late arriving crowd

Why isn't Uribe still a member of the White Sox?

Because he signed contracts to play baseball with SF and LA.

But wouldn't it have been wise to lock him up in Chicago?

No. Unless you would rather we pay him more than 8 million a year.

Come on Brent. Better effort here please.

Lilli is bad.

Beckham will get him in.

Has Robin become an advocate of the Sunday lineup?
