Thought Treanor left too early.

Not the best throw from Rios there, should have had Treanor at the plate. He left early...wow!!!

Got a break there. Great catch by someone with the coaching staff.

Amazingly, only 60 pitches for Quintana so far through to get through the 6th.

Escobar = translator extraordinaire.

HAHAHA. Huge break, and probably a bad call.

What in the f*** did I just see? Where was the misunderstanding there? How many outs? The third base umpire CLEARLY called him out. Then they just stood there. Way to go, whoever called for that appeal! 1-0 Sox!

the appeal comes through...wow

Was a pretty damn good throw. Flowers needs to block the plate.

The batter asked for time, and it was granted, before Quintana came set and went to step off to appeal. So it's like nothing ever happened. Had to wait until a live ball situation, then appeal.

Also, terrible call.

That throw was fine, it would have had Treanor if Flowers held on to it

Mattingly ejected, predictably.

He's torqued.

Clearly Mattingly went and saw the replay, knew it was wrong, then came out.

Now THAT'S a play where replay could easily be put in.

It didn't look like the umpire was even looking at Treanor.

Charley Steiner says that's the angriest he's ever seen Don Mattingly in 20+ years.

Standing O from the sell out crowd.

good show donnie baseball good show

Wow. Grow a pair and toss him. What in the hell was that.

That's a huge call. Gotta give him his two cents worth.

That should never be allowed to be replayed.

They gave him a quarter, at least.

He was tossed a while ago, just didn't leave. Not sure what you're talking about.

And why is that? That's a black and white play where nothing else is affected.

Oh he was? I didn't see that then, and the Dodger announcer didn't point it out, I guess.

Because we just benefitted from it :)

Because it requires two views that have to be synced up on the fly. If the umpire does his job, that's an easy call for him.

This ump just does not like Tyler. Thats nw 3 bad strikes he's called on hm.

Yeah, he really wasn't even mad or yelling much until he got tossed.
