What gives you any kind of optimism that believs we will even score again? Have you watched this offense lately?

I wonder if he'll use the elbow excuse again to explain his suckiness this season? He's literally been one of the worst pitchers in baseball over the last year.

 

There have actually been 22 worse starting pitchers this season than Humber.

 

EDIT: Oh, maybe you meant over the past calender year. In which case there have been 25 worse starters than Humber.

Turner has one good start this year, one bad start. It's not like he's had a 6 ERA for the entire season. Of course he had no issues with the 7/8/9 of the Sox lineup today, which is about AAA caliber.

I don't think anyone would expect them to beat the Angels or Rangers in the Wild Card game.

 

Let's just face it, the Tigers are better, especially with the injury to Danks and the rookies filling up the pen.

 

We will forever be haunted by Escobar, Thornton and Reed from Thursday night's game...and Ventura's inexperience.

You have a better chance of the offense reappearing than this starting staff being good enough to make the playoffs. As far as the team goes next year, I don't think it's unreasonable to think they will be worse off than a 1/2 game out on this date next year.

The magic in game wizzard on Gameday popped up telling us that the Tigers hurler is leaving the ball up and is prone to giving up the homerun. Really? Can't tell it by this team. Should I hold out hope?
