At least he had an RBI on that hit.

Konerko should have swung hard at that first pitch, it was right down the middle

Myers get a inning today guys?

It's sad the Sox apparently have decided a 50 percent Paulie shouldn't be shut down.

Hei's got to be hurt; he couldn't get this bad so quickly after dominating pitching the past couple seasons.

This is on the Sox management team.

Tigers' announcers think Santiago is more effective in the low 90's instead of overthrowing the fastball as the closer.

Has to pace himself more going 2-3 innings, like he did last year.

Management should issue a press release stating that Paulie will now be a singles hitter for the remainder of the year.

Pushing Santiago a bit too hard when he hasn't been stretched out...

Or just tell the truth about his injury to a fan base that pays a lot of money to see the team play.

Sox fans are big boys n girls; they can take a dose of bad news.

Konerko is a veteran. He knows his own body. He's had the same exact thing before in the past.

The bone chip or fragment clearly is rubbing against another bone and irritating his wrist and entire swing.

Last year, they just got lucky with it when it moved...and injection cleared it up.

What do you believe is structurally wrong with Konerko's wrist? Bone spurs? Muscle strain? Luol Deng-like injury?

I've seen a lot of management decisions this season that could be the difference.

Having Santiago close.

Sticking with Morel in the 2-hole.

Sticking with Morel. Period.

Not letting Quintana finish a 1-0 game after 77 pitches in LA.

Not adjusting the lineup when guys go cold.

It's a fine line between 86 and 91 wins. And the Sox do things that hurt them because of loyalty and stubborness.

11 runs charged for Lester, what has happened to him

It's all speculation at this point, Konerko apparently is saying he feels fine.

Yep, hell of an effort by him. Septimo is gonna get sent down it would seem.

Well if he feels 100%, then someone needs to tell him that the Sox don't need him swinging like an opposite field slap hitter.

Letting MT see the 9th inning EVER is at the top of the list to me.

Very good job by Hector. Control last inning or so was iffy but overall

He has sucked all year. Danks and Lester really have fallen of the map.

Yeah he's too slow to be a productive slap hitter.

That won't cut it.

The last person I want to see on the mound right now is Nate Jones.

Jones 9.28 ERA his last 10 innings.

19 hits, 10 walks.....29 baserunners in 10

I thought about going back to edit my post, but I figured somebody would bring that up.

Yeah, that's an obvious one.

Did not realize it was that bad.
