July 30, 201213 yr Snodgress beasting too. Still no sign of Barnum for Bristol. Assuming Rienzo is 'clean', he has to start being considered a top-5 prospect for us if he continues like this, no? Edited July 30, 201213 yr by northside sawx
July 30, 201213 yr Snodgress must LOVE Winston-Salem. He was decent at Kanny, but beasting it at W-S. So far in High-A..... 12 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 17 K, 0.75 ERA, 0.67 WHIP, 12.75 K/9, 2.25 BB/9, 5.67 K/BB Obviously only 12 IP, but VERY encouraging start for the 22-year-old
July 30, 201213 yr Mitchell 1/3, BB, 2 K's....continuing to look like Adam Dunn minus the homers. At least he's 6/20 and getting on base at a decent clip, not totally overwhelmed so far. Ayala and Jaffe struggling in Bristol. Edited July 30, 201213 yr by caulfield12
July 30, 201213 yr I've been keeping an eye on Trayce and it seems to me that he's starting to put it together.
July 30, 201213 yr QUOTE (scenario @ Jul 29, 2012 -> 11:16 PM) I've been keeping an eye on Trayce and it seems to me that he's starting to put it together. What have his K numbers been like recently?
July 30, 201213 yr QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 30, 2012 -> 08:12 AM) What have his K numbers been like recently? Trending generally down as the season has gone on, though still somewhat high.
July 30, 201213 yr QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 29, 2012 -> 06:32 PM) Snodgress must LOVE Winston-Salem. He was decent at Kanny, but beasting it at W-S. July 30, 201213 yr QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 30, 2012 -> 09:12 AM) What have his K numbers been like recently? 4 in his last 7 games (31 PA) 8 in his last 10 games (43 PA) Only 1 multi-strikeout game in last 10 games (6BB:8K) .351/.442/.730/1.172 over the stretch
July 30, 201213 yr Thompson always has 3 or 4 crazy hot streaks that sort of offset the general awfulness of the rest of his season. I'm sure this will be no different. He's still young at least.
