July 31, 201213 yr We play the Royals several more times. This could be bad, cause Broxton could implode in the ninth. They now have MUCH BETTER closer options in terms of stuff.

They now have MUCH BETTER closer options in terms of stuff. Doesn't mean they will be effective in the closers role. "Stuff" may be key in a good closer, but the "mental" side is much bigger. Broxton has proven he can close games.
July 31, 201213 yr they have some better arms like Holland/Crow/Herrera they can have close now, but it weakens their middle relief. With how bad their starting pitching is, this is likely going to hurt them.
