I think Hector can give the team at least 4 innings if they're trying to rest Sale or Peavy. Just put him in a place to succeed. Like starting against Seattle or Cleveland or Minny

The plan is to have Hudson do a rehab stint. This ensures the Sox will have a couple of options now on their playoff roster, more if De Aza isn't activated until Sept 1.*
